4:30- 8:30pm, 700 block of S. Bronson Avenue.

Our Annual Halloween Haunt is great fun for the whole family!  Held again this year on Bronson Avenue between Wilshire and 8th, with the street blocked off to traffic.  Thanks to our Councilmember, Tom LaBonge, for taking care of that for us!  So, we'll be rocking Halloween for all of Wilshire Park for the FIFTH TIME this year.

Every year, Halloween just keeps getting bigger and better, and has become Wilshire Park Association's major event and fund raiser.  It is our best tool for getting together with our neighbors.  And this year, we will have a lot of new neighbors to welcome.

This year we are featuring:

HPOZ Conference and Wilshire Park Walking Tour

The Triplets (the three HPOZs:  Wilshire Park, Country Club Park, and Windsor Village), will be hosting several two-three hour walking tours.  The conference theme is sustainability, and the focus of the walking tour in Wilshire Park will be moved-on houses, a great example of sustainability of historic housing materials.

The tour will not include the interior of homes, just the exterior.  Because tour-goers will be on foot, we will be keeping the tour as close to the Church as possible, and concentrating on the Boulevard Heights section of Wilshire Park.  If you have a great story, old pictures, a moved-on house, or wish to be a tour guide, please contact robbyo@pacbell.net.
