Welcome to Wilshire Park
Wilshire Park is a small community west of downtown Los Angeles, bounded by Wilshire, Olympic, Wilton and Crenshaw. On November 5, 2008, Los Angeles City Council approved the nomination of Wilshire Park as an Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ).
The Wilshire Park Association is a California (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization, devoted to connecting with our neighbors through community events as well as maintaining the beauty of our historic neighborhood nestled in the heard of mid-city Los Angeles.
The association has formed a Neighborhood Watch program with block captains for each block. The purpose of the Neighborhood Watch is to improve communication between neighbors, and increase safety and security in the neighborhood. Each Block Captain will be coordinating meetings and activities for each block to that end. Block captains are noted on our Officers and Committee page.

Early this year the Annual General Meeting was held on February 9, 2023. Please check out the Annual General Meeting page to find out more about upcoming board elections and other agenda items that were discussed.
We are currently updating the website and have added several new pages. Here are a few of the pages that have been added:
-
Local Businesses page for the businesses in our Wilshire Park district.
-
Contacts page for easy access for local resources available.
-
An Events page we plan to keep up to date with Wilshire Park Association events and meetings, as well as local Wilshire Park events such as block wide garage sales and holiday celebrations such as our beloved Halloween Haunt.
