Wilshire Park, with assistance by Michelle Flores of the Council District 5 office, had an LAPD "Roll Call" in Wilshire Park on Bronson Avenue on May 22, as part of Wilshire Park and LAPD Olympic Division's ongoing efforts to mutually support both the neighborhood and the LAPD officers. The event was hosted at the Hennington residence and was a great opportunity for residents to meet their local officers, as well as ask questions and voice concerns, in person. 

 

In attendance were both the Senior Lead Officer Harry Cho, as well as Captain Brian O'Connor, who is the area's commanding officer, as well as several patrol officers.  The residents were able to strengthen bonds with both these leaders and patrol officers and to hear how the neighborhood can be most helpful to their local LAPD, during this meeting right before the patrol officers began their shift.  The crowd was treated to sweets from a new local business, Voodoo Donuts, of Portland, OR, now with a location on LaBrea and Melrose.
